A website that allows residents to trace where their water comes from, and where their wastewater and runoff goes. Real-time statistics on pollutants in runoff water from the residents’ own watershed is included. The information can be customized through a water footprint calculator to indicate the resident’s individual ‘share of pollutants coming from their neighborhood.

The project aims to help Twin Cities residents visualize where their water comes from, goes to and the processes involved. The mock-up was developed with input from multiple watershed organizations in the Twin Cities and builds on google-maps.
