Bringing survey data to life

Infographics help visualize the numbers and nuance of a community-based survey.

The St. Paul & Minnesota Foundation's East Metro Pulse survey reveals data on the health and vitality of the communities within Minnesota's East Metro (Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington counties). We designed a series of "mini-reports" to highlight key findings and inform audiences interested in using this data for policymaking and grant writing decisions. By making the data more visual — including a spin-off series of animations for social media — the mini-reports more clearly showed stakeholder audiences issues that they and the foundation were poised to fix.
